Hi, I'm Lauren.

I don't know much about cars, but I'm learning. I've always loved automobiles, an interest sparked by trips with my dad to Hot August Nights Show n' Shines and the National Automobile Museum, and reinforced by my JDM-loving husband Chris, who introduced me to Top Gear and taught me to drive a stick.

My true love lies with English cars - Aston Martin, Lotus, Jaguar, and MG - which lead me to buy my first performance car, a 2011 Lotus Evora, in June 2014. True to form and expectation, though, hand-built English cars need special care, and an owner that knows what the delicate creatures need.

So I've set to learning everything I can about how cars work, and how I can maintain the cars I have now and the cars I will have in the future, with a dream to build and race my very own 1950s MG TD.

I have a long way to go....but here's a start.
